IEEE WCNC is the world premier wireless event that brings together industry professionals, academics, and individuals from government agencies and other institutions to exchange information and ideas on the advancement of wireless communications and networking technology.
The 2019 edition of this conference (IEEE WCNC 2019) was a successful event held for the first time in Africa, taking place in the imperial city of Marrakech from 15th to 19th of April (https://wcnc2019.ieee-wcnc.org). It featured a comprehensive technical program offering numerous technical sessions with papers showcasing the latest technologies, applications, and services. The conference program included workshops, tutorials, keynote talks from industrial leaders and renowned academics, panel discussions, a large exhibition, business and industrial forums.
In addition, IEEE WCNC 2019 hosted two special events. The first one was exclusively allocated to 6G (https://wcnc2019.ieee-wcnc.org/special-events#se1), co-organized with Finland’s 6G Flaghship Program, reporting on the first 6G Wireless Summit. The second special event was dedicated to encourage and support women and young professionals in communications and networking engineering (https://wcnc2019.ieee-wcnc.org/specialevents#se2); composed by professionals from different backgrounds and countries, bringing rich perspectives from the Industry, Academia and public organizations.
